Aphrodite Hills is the premier
Golf & Leisure resort in Cyprus. It is situated on the west coast of
the island, halfway between Paphos and Limassol, overlooking the
Mediterranean Sea. Adonis Village, a series of superb apartments
within Aphrodite Hills, has its own communal pool and easy access to the
golf club, village centre and other amenities. The apartment has
stunning views of the sea and the surrounding nature reserve and provides
the perfect base from which to enjoy all the amenities or to explore Cyprus
itself. The
air-conditioned apartment has one bedroom with twin beds and built in
wardrobes and cupboards, a bathroom with bath and shower and a
lounge/kitchen area with sofa, chairs and tables. The apartment is
superbly equipped with everything for an enjoyable stay including TV/DVD,
microwave, oven/hob, fridge, washing machine and all necessary bedding and
towels. The balcony has its own table, chairs, sun umbrella and sun
loungers. The sofa will also convert into a bed large enough for 2 to
share. The apartment is 750 yards from the beach club, which is served
by a shuttle service and is within a few minutes walk from the golf club,
spa and village centre.
Aphrodite Hills has its own golf course, tennis courts, beach club, swimming
pools, gym, spa, village centre featuring shops, bars and restaurants and
the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel. With all amenities available to
guests, it's possible to spend all of your time at Aphrodite Hills.
You should, however, use the resort as a base to explore the many beaches,
typical mediterranean villages and sites of historical interest that are
within easy reach.
According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite, the goddess of love (from which
Aphrodite Hills gets its name) emerged from the sea from a spot just below
the resort. In Cyprus it
is possible to sunbathe on the beach in the morning and ski in the
afternoon. The Troodos Mountains, only 1.5 hours from Aphrodite Hills,
offers 4 ski runs from early January until March.
Aphrodite Hills is 10 minutes from paphos
Airport and 1.25 hours from Larnaca Airport. Car hire is recommended.
