One of the most picturesque villages of South-west Paphos  is just a couple of kilometres away. Peyia village is known for its traditional village taverns that serve excellent fresh food in the time-honoured fashion of a Cypriot meze (traditional form of Cypriot dining with many small dishes served over the course of hours).  It's beautiful fountain in the stone-paved village square is a perfect place to sit and take in the surroundings of traditional village life.
